The fellowship program further qualifies the next generation of executives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine in the field of good governance and thus fosters responsible action in the public sector (public administration, public companies, non-profit organizations, etc.).
20 German speaking young professionals are invited to participate in seminars on “Good Governance” and to work on a project between August 2013 and August 2014. The main seminar takes place in Berlin and Warsaw from August 31 to September 21, 2013. In a follow-up project they will contribute to future cooperation in Europe. The participants get to know examples of implementing politics and good governance in Germany and the EU. They are thus able to gain exclusive insights into political life and establish contacts.
Prof. Günter Verheugen, former vice president of the European Commission, accompanies the participants as director of the Kolleg. Please note that the working language of the whole program is German. Further information is attached and available under www.goerdeler-kolleg.de. Application deadline is set for February 28, 2013.
